Develop, design, engineer, analyze and deploy scalable applications, and write queries and stored procedures to support requirements, data streaming, event-driven architecture, messaging, runtime environments, containers, orchestration tools, data ingestion and transformation, data quality and governance. Work on cloud platforms, solutions and services, containerize application, configure pipelines for automated deployments, maintain workflows for data ingestion and transformation, confer with data engineering teams to integrate data with analytics and reporting systems. Migrate legacy applications in services platform, deliver project milestones, review code and databases, document technical designs, perform unit and scenario testing, and review performance and security. Implement design patterns and indexing, troubleshoot. Analyze client/user needs, recommend modifications, and formulate validation plans. Use .NET, Java, APIs, SQL, SQL Server, NoSQL, Kafka, OpenShift, PCF, AWS, Azure, CI/CD, ETL, Apache Spark, Informatica, React, Angular, Spring Boot, SOAP Web Services, RESTful APIs, Microservices, HTML, CSS, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Maven, GitLab, BI, Agile, Spring. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years experience in the proffered position or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience reviewing scalability, code, databases, performance, security; working with cloud solutions; performing unit and scenario testing; using Java, SQL, SQL Server, Kafka, AWS, Azure, CI/CD, React, Angular, Spring Boot, SOAP Web Services, RESTful APIs, Microservices, HTML, CSS, Docker, Jenkins, Maven, Agile. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $178,132 to $178,150 /yr.
