Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Tester / QA Analyst with strong hands-on experience in functional testing, manual testing, automation testing, API testing, and database testing. The ideal candidate will have practical experience using Katalon Studio and Postman to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of software applications.
Required Skills
6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio.
Functional Testing and Manual Testing.
Test Automation Development and Execution.
API Testing using Postman, REST APIs, web services, and microservices.
Database Testing and SQL validation.
Test Case Design, Test Plan Preparation, and Test Execution.
Defect Reporting, Tracking, and Management.
Regression Testing and Integration Testing.
Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
Experience with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar automation frameworks.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, document, and execute functional test plans and test cases.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon and related tools.
Execute API tests using Postman or similar tools.
Perform database validation and verify data integrity.
Identify, document, and track defects in collaboration with development teams.
Analyze test results and support defect resolution.
Maintain test reports, test documentation, and automation scripts.
Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to improve software quality.
Expected Deliverables

Functional and regression test execution.
Automation script development and maintenance.
API and database testing.
Defect reporting and test result documentation.
Additional Information
W2 candidates only; visa open.
Remote position with occasional client-office visits.
