Role Title: Java Technical Lead
NO STUDENT VISAS (NO OPT / CPT)
This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader with strong expertise in Java, exposure to JavaScript, and a solid background in architecture and solution design. Experience in the Healthcare or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) domain is highly preferred.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, capable of leading technical discussions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving scalable cloud-based solutions in Azure.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level applications and solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and delivery.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and architects to define technical requirements and solution strategies.
• Drive architecture solutioning for cloud-based and enterprise applications, primarily within the Azure ecosystem.
• Contribute hands-on development in Java and support front-end or integration efforts where JavaScript knowledge is beneficial.
• Translate business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Support modernization initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across systems and applications.
• Mentor team members and promote strong engineering standards.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
• 5–7 years of overall IT/software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience in a Tech Lead or senior technical role with responsibility for solution design and team guidance.
• Solid experience with Azure cloud technologies and services.
• Strong background in architecture solutioning and designing scalable enterprise applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work closely with stakeholders and drive technical decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in the Healthcare or PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management)industry.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
