About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our growing analytics team. This role is ideal for entry level candidates or early-career professionals who are eager to build a strong foundation in data analytics and business intelligence.

As a Junior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and product to support data-driven strategies. Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate insights to support business growth
  • Analyze trends and patterns in large datasets to inform strategic decisions

Data Cleaning & Preparation

  • Clean, validate, and preprocess raw datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Transform and structure data for reporting and analytics purposes
  • Identify data quality issues and implement solutions to improve data integrity

SQL & Data Extraction

  • Write efficient SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases
  • Support ad-hoc data requests from stakeholders across departments
  • Optimize queries for performance and scalability

Troubleshooting & Data Validation

  • Audit data pipelines and reports to ensure alignment with source systems
  • Identify discrepancies and troubleshoot data-related issues
  • Work with engineering or data teams to resolve data feed or integration problems

Insights & Business Recommendations

  • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights
  • Provide recommendations to improve marketing campaigns, operational efficiency, and overall business performance
  • Present findings in a simple and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders

Automation & Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive reporting and data tasks
  • Utilize scripting (Python/R) and tools to streamline workflows
  • Contribute to building scalable and efficient data processes

Required Qualifications

Visa Status

  • Education

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
      • Data Science
      • Statistics
      • Mathematics
      • Computer Science
      • Engineering or a related quantitative discipline

    Technical Skills

    • SQL: Strong ability to write queries for data extraction and analysis
    • Data Visualization: Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
    • Programming: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
    • Excel: Advanced proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis tools)

    Soft Skills

    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
    • Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic work setting

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Internship, academic project, or hands-on experience in data analysis
