Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate insights to support business growth
- Analyze trends and patterns in large datasets to inform strategic decisions
Data Cleaning & Preparation
- Clean, validate, and preprocess raw datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Transform and structure data for reporting and analytics purposes
- Identify data quality issues and implement solutions to improve data integrity
SQL & Data Extraction
- Write efficient SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases
- Support ad-hoc data requests from stakeholders across departments
- Optimize queries for performance and scalability
Troubleshooting & Data Validation
- Audit data pipelines and reports to ensure alignment with source systems
- Identify discrepancies and troubleshoot data-related issues
- Work with engineering or data teams to resolve data feed or integration problems
Insights & Business Recommendations
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights
- Provide recommendations to improve marketing campaigns, operational efficiency, and overall business performance
- Present findings in a simple and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders
Automation & Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive reporting and data tasks
- Utilize scripting (Python/R) and tools to streamline workflows
- Contribute to building scalable and efficient data processes
Required Qualifications
Visa Status
- Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Data Science
- Statistics
- Mathematics
- Computer Science
- Engineering or a related quantitative discipline
Technical Skills
- SQL: Strong ability to write queries for data extraction and analysis
- Data Visualization: Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
- Programming: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Excel: Advanced proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis tools)
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
