About the Role
Bryans Road Crown is seeking a talented A-Level Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our growing independent shop. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and problem-solving, while delivering top-notch service our customers trust.
You?ll work on a variety of vehicles, handle challenging diagnostics, and be part of a team that values skill, professionalism, and efficiency.
Top Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on electrical, drivability, and emissions issues.
- Execute major repairs, including timing chains, engine repairs, and other complex systems.
- Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and clearly communicate findings to customers.
- Maintain strong productivity with 30?50 billable hours per week.
- Collaborate with a skilled team to ensure high-quality repairs and honest service.

Who We?re Looking For
- 8+ years of professional automotive technician experience
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to independently perform complex repairs
- Maryland State Inspector License preferred
- Experience with Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) preferred
- ASE certifications a plus
- Valid driver?s license with a clean record
- Independent shop experience preferred; dealer techs with strong diagnostic skills welcome
