Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Healthcare Project Manager to drive hands-on technical implementations and infrastructure rollouts across multiple physician practice management sites. The ideal candidate blends deep expertise in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) integrations, healthcare IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity protocols with strong stakeholder coordination skills.

This role requires regional travel across Austin, Dallas, and Oklahoma City to work directly with client teams, physician practices, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation & Execution: Direct end-to-end implementation of EMR systems, IT infrastructure, and specialized healthcare software across client sites.
• Practice & Client Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for physician practice leaders, managing scope, expectations, timelines, and change management strategies.
• MSP & Vendor Management: Partner closely with external Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and third-party vendors to deliver hardware, network upgrades, and technical integration on schedule.
• Cybersecurity Compliance: Ensure all infrastructure, cloud environments, and EMR workflows align with healthcare cybersecurity standards and HIPAA compliance requirements.
• On-Site Leadership: Travel regularly to client sites in Austin, Dallas, and Oklahoma City to oversee Go-Lives, lead technical kickoffs, and address operational friction directly.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Healthcare Experience: Proven track record in Physician Practice Management and ambulatory/clinical environment workflows.
• Technical Mastery: Hands-on experience leading EMR implementations and healthcare IT infrastructure initiatives (networks, servers, endpoint deployments).
• Cybersecurity Knowledge: Clear understanding of healthcare cybersecurity best practices, data security, and compliance regulations.
• Project Management Expertise: 7+ years of dedicated Project Management experience (PMP certification or equivalent preferred).
• Vendor & MSP Oversight: Demonstrated ability to manage, hold accountable, and collaborate with external IT MSPs.
• Communication & Personality: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a engaging personality capable of building immediate rapport with physicians, executive leadership, and technical vendors.
• Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel frequently between Austin, Dallas, and Oklahoma City.
