Job Description

Seeking an experienced Data Modeler for a client-facing role supporting PB Enterprise Data Analysis and Support project.

The Data Modeler will analyze existing 2019 current-state enterprise data models and develop updated current-state data models and supporting data management artifacts.

Responsibilities

Analyze existing enterprise data models and current-state architecture.
Create conceptual and logical data model diagrams.
Analyze systems, integrations, data domains, information types, entities, and relationships.
Understand relationships between systems and data across enterprise domains including Pension Plan Management, Financial Management, HR, Legal, and IT.
Create models using tools such as Microsoft Visio and/or Power BI.
Support enterprise data strategy and data categorization/classification.
Advise on common data mapping.
Support integration and API strategy.
Support API catalog standards.
Contribute to target architecture and modernization roadmaps.
Advise on data warehouse/data lake use cases.
Support Master Data Management strategy.
Advise on technologies supporting PBAI & Data goals.
Collaborate with project leadership, enterprise architecture, business process, and technical stakeholders.

Required Background

Strong enterprise data modeling experience.
Conceptual and logical data modeling experience.
Experience working with complex enterprise IT ecosystems.
Experience analyzing systems, integrations, data domains, entities, and relationships.
Strong client-facing communication skills.
Experience supporting enterprise data strategy or architecture initiatives.
Experience with Visio and/or Power BI is valuable.

Out of Scope

Data quality analysis, physical data model analysis, system redesign, data cleansing, data quality improvements, and AI/ML solution development/implementation are outside the scope of this role.
