Job Title: Senior Google Cloud Platform Cloud Architect

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Google Cloud Platform Cloud Architect Consultant to lead the
strategic design and migration of on-premise applications to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
This role will advise on and set the Google Cloud Platform deployment strategy, working closely with
implementation teams to assess current infrastructures, recommend cloud-based
solutions, and ensure successful implementation of both commercial oH-the-shelf (COTS)
and home-grown applications in Google Cloud. The consultant will serve as a trusted
advisor, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that the Google Cloud Platform architecture aligns with
business objectives while maintaining high standards for security, scalability, and
eHiciency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cloud Strategy Development: Collaborate with development, security and
platform teams to assess existing on-premise infrastructure and develop
comprehensive Google Cloud Platform deployment strategies tailored to the client’s needs.
• Technical Advisory: Provide technical leadership and advisory to implementation
teams during the migration of applications to Google Cloud Platform, ensuring best practices are
followed.
• Solution Design: Architect secure, scalable, and cost-eHicient cloud solutions
using Google Cloud Platform services, ensuring that they meet technical, security and business
requirements.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Create and maintain cloud architecture
documentation, policies, and procedures. Provide training and knowledge transfer
to technical teams to ensure they can manage and optimize the environment postdeployment.
• Issue Resolution & Support: Act as a point of escalation for troubleshooting
complex cloud-related issues, collaborating with client technical teams to ensure
high availability and dependability of the Google Cloud Platform environment.
• Prototyping & Cloud-Native Design: Work with product teams to prototype ideas
and design cloud-native architectures for future application development in Google Cloud Platform.
• Client Alignment: Ensure that Google Cloud Platform solutions align with organizational objectives,
integrating business and technical requirements into the overall architecture.
Job Skills:
• Cloud Architecture Expertise: Demonstrated experience as a Cloud Architect, with
a strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and Google Cloud Platform services, including
compute, networking, storage, and security.
• Migration Experience: Extensive experience migrating on-premise applications to
public cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform.
• Serverless & Cloud-Native Design: Experience with serverless architectures and
cloud-native application design, leveraging Google Cloud Platform services like Cloud Functions, App
Engine, and Kubernetes.
• DevSecOps & Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and
Agile frameworks, enabling seamless and secure cloud service deployment.
• Advisory & Collaboration Skills: Strong consulting and advisory skills, with the
ability to work directly with technical and business teams to align cloud strategies
with business goals.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of
resolving complex cloud-related issues.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the
ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining
high-quality output.
Work Experience:
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud architecture and public cloud
infrastructure, with at least 2 years focused on Google Cloud.
• Previous experience working in consulting roles, advising clients on cloud migration
strategies and solutions.
• Experience working with product engineering teams is a plus.
