We are hiring Managers, Senior Managers, and Director-level professionals within our Data & AI Consulting Practice to own the full AI lifecycle: shaping end-to-end solutions during pre-sales, leading enterprise ML/GenAI programs into production, as well as working on building scalable, market-ready AI offerings. This is a hands-on leadership role for technologists who combine deep engineering capability with client engagement and commercial ownership, delivering measurable enterprise impact beyond proof-of-concept initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in AI, which includes Generative AI, ML and Data Science, driving the design, development, and implementation of AI and AI Engineering solutions for clients
  • Connect across the organization to drive AI adoption in selected vertical, helping to envision new products, solutions, offerings, and other differentiators
  • Engage with clients during pre-sales cycle to understand their business challenges and effectively solution how AI and Data solutions can address them
  • Support sales / pre-sales activities by accessing Data opportunities, responding to RFPs, creating proposals and presentations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define projects scope, solution, develop datasets
  • Shape AI solutions and properly scope/price engagements, establishing optimal operating models and project team organization, and leading the transition from the sales process to the delivery phase
  • Deliver high-quality AI solutions (use-cases, capabilities, platforms) on time and budget
  • Be AI Champion for client stakeholders, including executive / C-level, helping them drive an enterprise-wide agenda to maximize AI adoption
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in ML/AI and emerging technologies, proactively recommending new approaches and methodologies to address challenges in the space/markets and geographies in which the clients operate

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on AI expertise. Track record in designing and implementing AI solutions to production. You understand different model architectures, quality metrics, ADLC, production vs. notebook delivery
  • Experience on AI operations side, track record of production AI delivery. Familiarity with one or more related offering from industry leaders Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Databricks, Azure, Salesforce
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, driving internal and external multi-dimensional teams to deliver AI products
  • Demonstrated experience in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders to secure funding or selling ML/AI projects
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams in different geographies, and building strong client relationships
  • Technical proficiency in programming languages such as Python and ML libraries/frameworks such as PyTorch/TensorFlow
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into practical ML/AI solutions
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or relevant work experience

This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training; the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $160,000 - $210,000.
