Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead reliability and continuous improvement initiatives for plant utility systems including boilers, HVAC, compressed air, glycol, chilled water, wastewater, RO, and nitrogen systems
• Manage facility infrastructure upgrades while ensuring compliance with engineering, safety, and regulatory standards
• Plan and coordinate plant shutdown activities during major holidays and scheduled maintenance windows
• Lead capital projects from scope development through execution and closeout ranging from $5K-$50M
• Partner cross-functionally with maintenance, operations, engineering, EHS, and external contractors on infrastructure and expansion initiatives
• Maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and long-range capital planning documentation
• Drive strategic infrastructure improvements that support plant growth, sustainability, and operational readiness
• Support long-term reliability initiatives rather than day-to-day maintenance operations support

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent industry experience)
• Minimum 5+ years of manufacturing or industrial engineering experience
• Experience leading capital and infrastructure projects in industrial manufacturing environments
• Strong background in utility systems including boilers, chilled water, compressed air, HVAC, wastewater, and RO systems
• Experience managing engineering compliance, safety standards, and infrastructure reliability initiatives
• Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects from concept through execution and completion
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience in food & beverage manufacturing or other FDA-regulated manufacturing environments preferred
• CMMS / EAM system experience preferred (Infor / Hexagon EAM highly preferred)
• PE License or PMP Certification is a plus
