Our client, a Fortune 5 company, is looking to hire a UX Researcher in Cupertino, CA.
Pay Rate Range: $40 to $48.50/hr on w2, depending on experience
Responsibilities: We are looking for a
UX Researcher to join a dynamic Customer Insights team focused on delivering meaningful, user-centered insights. In this role, you will support qualitative research initiatives and usability testing efforts to help shape customer experiences and inform business decisions.
You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, partnering with cross-functional teams to bring the voice of the customer into product, marketing, and retail experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and support execution of qualitative research studies, including usability testing, user interviews, and contextual inquiries
- Analyze user behavior and feedback to identify key insights, needs, and pain points
- Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable recommendations
- Translate complex data into compelling stories and presentations for stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align research with business goals
- Assist in creating reports, presentations, and communications tailored to different audiences
Requirements: - Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in UX Research, Qualitative Research, or related field
- Strong knowledge of research methods such as usability testing, interviews, and observational research
- Ability to translate research findings into business insights and recommendations
- Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications- Experience moderating in-depth interviews (IDIs), focus groups, or workshops
- Familiarity with tools such as UserTesting, UserZoom, Figma, or similar platforms
- Experience creating presentations using tools like Keynote or PowerPoint
- Exposure to global or multi-market research projects
- Background in technology, retail, or customer experience research
Education- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Design, or a related field
- Equivalent practical experience will also be considered
Nice to Have- Experience in retail or customer-facing environments
- Exposure to large-scale or international research programs
