Product Manager - Remote

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Product Manager for a Remote position with a Leading Technology Firm located in Burlingame, CA. This is a 4+ month contract opportunity.

This role will support product planning and execution for cross-functional initiatives involving commerce and payment systems in a VR environment. The ideal candidate will help define product requirements, coordinate delivery milestones, and support decision-making through clear documentation and data-informed insights to improve payment setup and checkout flows.

Responsibilities:

• Manage roadmap and execution for commerce and payment systems in VR
• Analyze and suggest improvements in payment setup and checkout flows
• Define and analyze the metrics that determine success, including payment method attach, checkout completion, and balance usage
• Identify and track key performance indicators
• Support product strategy and planning by contributing to product roadmaps, requirements, and prioritization discussions
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Data Science, etc.) to coordinate execution
• Gather and synthesize inputs from stakeholders and users to inform product requirements
• Draft clear product documentation, including PRDs, user stories, and release notes

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product management, project management, or a closely related role
• Experience in product strategy, funnel and experiment analysis, and execution with a cross-functional team
• Proven cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience translating business and user needs into clear product requirements and prioritized plans
• Experience working with partners to deliver outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing structured product documentation
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and measure impact

Desired skills:

• Experience with commerce, payments, or checkout systems
• Experience with consumer products at scale
• VR/AR platform experience

Pay range: up to $79.37 per hour
