Java Developer

We are seeking a Junior Java Developer to support the development and implementation of large-scale, Java-based enterprise applications. This role contributes across the full software development lifecycle in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, with a strong emphasis on learning, quality, and best practices.

The ideal candidate will assist senior developers in designing, building, testing, and debugging applications, with a primary focus on writing and executing automated unit tests using JUnit and JMockit. The role also involves working with databases, participating in code reviews, and adhering to established SDLC processes to deliver stable, well-documented software.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute JUnit and JMockit test scripts to support automated developer unit testing

• Assist senior developers in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Java applications and features

• Write clean, efficient, testable, and well-documented code following industry standards

• Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions

• Debug and resolve software defects to ensure application stability and performance

• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality

• Work with databases and support application integration

• Contribute to system documentation and continuous improvement of development processes

• Stay current with Java technologies, tools, and best practices

Required Skills

• Proficiency in JUnit and JMockit test script development

• Solid understanding of Java fundamentals and object-oriented programming

• Experience with TOSCA / NeoLoad test script development and execution

• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms

• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

• Experience using development tools and IDEs (e.g., Eclipse, Git, RSA)

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Experience or familiarity with enterprise case management or similar applications

Preferred / Additional Skills

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

• Exposure to Spring Framework, Hibernate, or similar Java frameworks
