Key Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

·        Strong experience in test automation.

·        Hands-on experience with manual testing.

·        Strong expertise in LoadRunner and JMeter.

·        Experience in performance engineering, including:

·        Workload modeling

·        Performance monitoring

·        Test environment setup

·        Capacity planning

·        Bottleneck identification and analysis

·        Performance results analysis and reporting

·        Strong SQL and backend testing skills.

Experience with:

·        API testing

·        Integration testing

·        Database testing

·        File testing

·        Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

·        Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

·        Certification

·        ISTQB Foundation Level certification is preferred.

·        Advanced ISTQB certifications are a plus.

·        Certifications are considered beneficial as evidence of demonstrated testing expertise but are not mandatory.

Healthcare Knowledge

·        Healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory.

·        Candidates with healthcare payer experience will be given preference, particularly those with exposure to:

Key Responsibilities:

·        The successful candidate will contribute to the organization's Quality Engineering initiatives and will be responsible for:

·        Establishing and maintaining performance testing environments.

·        Designing, developing, and executing performance and load test scripts.

·        Developing and maintaining automated performance test suites.

·        Performing workload modeling and defining performance test scenarios.

·        Executing performance, load, and scalability tests using LoadRunner and JMeter.

·        Monitoring application and infrastructure performance during testing.

·        Analyzing test results and identifying performance bottlenecks.

·        Providing recommendations to improve application scalability, reliability, and stability.

·        Performing backend and database validation using strong SQL skills.

·        Supporting API, integration, database, and file-based testing.

·        Supporting test planning, test execution, defect management, and release validation activities.

·        Collaborating with developers, QA engineers, business teams, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve quality and performance issues.

·        Contributing to continuous improvement of automation and performance testing practices within the Quality Engineering function.

Additional Details

·        Automation skills are mandatory. Manual testing will be one of the candidate's responsibilities but will not be the primary focus.

·        The candidate should be capable of taking ownership of the end-to-end performance testing lifecycle, including environment setup, test planning, scripting, execution, monitoring, analysis, reporting, and recommendations.

·        Experience in healthcare payer environments is highly desirable.

·        Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

·        Candidates must be willing to work onsite in the NYC area 2–3 days per week.
