Role: HR Document Migration Specialist – PeopleSoft to Oracle HCM Cloud

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Document Migration Specialist to support the migration of HR documents and employee records from PeopleSoft HCM to Oracle HCM Cloud. The ideal candidate will have expertise in HR data migration, document management, Oracle HCM Cloud, and migration tools. This role requires close collaboration with HR, IT, and implementation teams to ensure secure, accurate, and compliant migration of employee documents while minimizing business disruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of HR documents from PeopleSoft HCM to Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Analyze existing document repositories, metadata, and storage structures.
- Design and execute document migration strategies, mapping, and validation plans.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) HR documents and associated metadata.
- Configure Oracle HCM Cloud Document Records or Document of Record functionality as required.
- Ensure document classification, indexing, and metadata integrity during migration.
- Perform document cleansing, deduplication, and quality assurance activities.
- Validate migrated documents for completeness, accuracy, accessibility, and compliance.
- Develop migration scripts, templates, and automation where applicable.
- Coordinate migration activities with HR, Security, Infrastructure, and Oracle implementation teams.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and production deployment.
- Create migration documentation, process guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, or local regulations where applicable).
- Monitor migration progress, resolve issues, and provide status reports to project stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in HR systems implementation or migration projects.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM and Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Experience migrating HR documents, employee files, and document metadata.
- Strong understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud Document Records and employee document management.
- Experience with ETL tools, SQL, and data transformation techniques.
- Knowledge of document repositories, file formats (PDF, TIFF, Word, etc.), and metadata mapping.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects.
- Oracle HCM Cloud certification.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Familiarity with migration automation tools.
- Knowledge of HR business processes including Core HR, Talent Management, and Employee Lifecycle.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
