Job Description:
Role: Data Analytics Program Lead
We are a Developer Experience team focused on software development/Portfolio metrics at enterprise scale. We partner across engineering and product delivery teams to provide trustworthy insights on velocity, WIP, lead time, commit cycle times, and release frequency etc. We are looking for someone with who will ensure the accuracy and reliability of queries and metrics across Power BI, Oracle, and MongoDB, coordinate with cross-functional teams when issues arise, and communicate findings clearly. As you learn our data landscape and SDLC, you will grow into advising on fixes and preventative controls.

Responsibilities:
Validate metric definitions (e.g., velocity, lead time) against source-of-truth tables/collections; reconcile discrepancies and document root cause.
Build repeatable checks (sampling, reconciliation, boundary/edge cases) and maintain test cases in a central repository (Confluence/Jira).
Partner with BI developers, data engineers, and product analysts to triage defects, prioritize fixes, and track remediation to closure.
Monitor refreshes and lineage in Power BI; diagnose DAX/modeling issues impacting metric accuracy or performance.
Produce clear issue summaries and stakeholder updates-what broke, where, why, and how we fixed it.
Contribute to data quality standards, test coverage, and release sign-off criteria.

Required Skills/Experience:

Excellent MS Excel skills.
Hands-on SQL with Oracle (joins, window functions, CTEs, performance-aware queries).
MongoDB experience (aggregation pipelines, indexing, schema nuance in document stores).
Power BI validation skills (data model checks, DAX basics, refresh troubleshooting, lineage).
QA fundamentals (test case design, regression suites, defect lifecycle, traceability).
Working knowledge of SDLC in agile environments (Jira for work tracking; CI/CD awareness).
Strong communication: concise issue writeups, structured reasoning, stakeholder alignment.
Experience with large-scale enterprise data; BI semantic modeling (Star/Snowflake).
Exposure to Jira, Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible Tower (or similar).
Data observability tooling/concepts.
Data governance familiarity (data contracts, SLAs, lineage, stewardship).

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Hourly Pay Rate Range*: Between $60.00/hr - $64.00/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
