Solution Architect (USA)

Seeking a Solution Architect to lead an AI proof of concept for a major media and entertainment partner. This seven-week contract role will design a secure, traceable way to convert complex financial agreements and supporting spreadsheets into reviewable rules. The Solution Architect will shape a working solution from the ground up, validate it with representative contracts, and establish an architecture that can support broader conversion efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design the end-to-end architecture for document intake, contract interpretation, spreadsheet analysis, rule conversion, and validation.


• Define how agreements, amendments, financial models, and historical results are linked through source citations and an auditable evidence trail.


• Design modular components that can be reused as the conversion process expands to additional contract families.


• Select and integrate approved Azure and AI services within enterprise security, privacy, and governance requirements.


• Define canonical rule structures, versioning, effective-date handling, and the handoff to Rulebricks.


• Establish human review and exception workflows for conflicting sources, unsupported logic, and low-confidence interpretations.


• Define validation methods for historical replay, calculation differences, traceability, and measurable proof-of-concept results.


• Lead technical decisions and design reviews with engineers, financial subject matter experts, and platform stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience leading solution architecture for enterprise AI, document intelligence, data processing, or rules-based platforms.


• Hands-on knowledge of Azure architecture, identity and access controls, APIs, and Microsoft enterprise data sources.


• Experience designing AI-assisted extraction with grounded outputs, source citations, and human review.


• Experience with structured data models, versioned rule schemas, and integration with Rulebricks or comparable rules engines.


• Ability to model complex financial contract terms, calculations, and dependencies on prior-period results.


• Experience translating security, governance, testing, and audit requirements into practical technical designs.

Additional Details

The base range for this contract position is $100 - $110 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
