Summary

T&M Associates is currently seeking a Group Manager to lead our Community and Land Development Market. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned civil engineering professional with strong leadership, technical, and project management experience in land development. This position can be based in any of T&M's Pennsylvania offices, including King of Prussia, Philadelphia or Bethlehem.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of progressive experience in site development and civil design, along with a proven track record of successfully managing projects, clients, and teams. This hybrid position offers a flexible work environment, allowing for a mix of remote work and in-office collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team of engineers and technical professionals, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance management to ensure team growth and project success
  • Manage the planning, design, and execution of land development projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery across all phases
  • Serve as a key client contact, ensuring satisfaction while identifying opportunities for new business and supporting proposal development
  • Guide and review design work related to zoning analysis, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, wetlands, erosion control, and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with the Department Manager to manage budgets, allocate resources, track performance, and contribute to overall group and company success

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (required)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
  • 10+ years of experience in site development, land use engineering, and project management
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and stormwater modeling software
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams

T&M Associates is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices in compliance with applicable laws, including the New Jersey Equal Pay Act. T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $145,000 - $175,000The actual salary offered may vary within this range, depending on a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, educational qualifications, specific skills and knowledge, as well as internal pay equity and geographic location.
