Lead Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Establish, refine, and promote standardized Business Analysis methodologies, templates, and documentation practices.
• Develop and ensure high-quality requirements documentation including BRDs, RTMs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data requirements.
• Validate requirements to ensure alignment with business value, technical feasibility, and organizational goals.
• Provide feedback to improve deliverables and minimize rework.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of BA outputs aligned with project milestones.
• Support testing strategies covering functional, non-functional, and data requirements.
• Facilitate collaboration across business units, IT teams, and vendors to ensure alignment.
• Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and cross-functional discussions.
• Support change management through proactive communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Partner with product owners, project managers, and leadership to prioritize requirements and manage risks.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to executives, technical teams, and end users.
• Translate business needs into structured and actionable documentation.
• Present insights, recommendations, and updates to senior leadership.
• Mentor and develop Business Analysts, enhancing analytical and professional capabilities.
• Identify and implement improvements to BA processes, tools, and team effectiveness.
• Remove roadblocks and manage risks impacting BA performance.
• Drive accountability, transparency, and quality across the BA function.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of Business Analyst experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or mentoring role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and process modeling.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
• Experience working with enterprise-level or multi-module systems.
• Proficiency with BA and ALM tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience establishing BA standards or contributing to a Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Background in data governance, data integration, or data quality.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and automated testing tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach.
