Functional System Analyst Sr

Location: Columbus, Ohio (Onsite)

Pay: $60-$65/hr

Role Overview

We are seeking a Functional System Analyst to investigate, analyze, and resolve application issues. This role involves leading field investigations, interfacing with users and management, and performing application training. The position requires data analysis, assistance in report development, and performing application administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve application issues with minimal direction.
  • Perform application field investigations and interface with field staff and management.
  • Lead efforts with business unit employees to define business processes and functional requirements.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to employees in the proper use of applications.
  • Lead the development of application testing plans and user training plans.
  • Perform application administrative functions and develop associated procedures.
  • Perform data analysis and participate in process design.
  • Discuss technical issues with team members, end users, and management.
Required Qualifications

Education: An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Math, or a Statistics field is required.

Experience: 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 9 years of experience with an Associate's Degree.

Technical Skills: Experience managing web and/or mobile application products is necessary, along with a working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Proficiency is required in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
