Upon joining our team as a Hardware System Power Engineer, you will be directly applying your engineering expertise and working with many cross-functional teams to realize products that consumers will love! We collaborate with a large number of groups to bring a product from concept to mass production.\n\nOur goal is to help define exciting product features that will touch our customers. Therefore you'll have the ability to solve challenging engineering problems by selecting components, designing schematics, directing layout, and bringing up/ debugging circuits in the lab.\nYou will work along side partner teams to realize prototypes to aid in product definition and user testing.\nYou will have access to state of the art test equipment in labs to perform characterization of your circuits. You will also be able to define test criteria and execute these test plans on functional prototypes to demonstrate the robustness of your designs.\nYou will be part of a team focusing on power, and will drive detailed power circuit design and characterization. You will also help review schematic and layout. \nYou will be responsible for creating power test plans and guide their execution in lab and high volume manufacturing environment.\nSome domestic & international travels will be required.\n\nThis role requires excellent interpersonal skills and proactive collaboration. You are curious minded, always seeking to learn while offering your expertise to teach and help others.

5+ years of career experience\nStrong Electrical Engineering fundamentals\nExperience in power supply design and knowledge of DC-DC power conversion topologies including tradeoffs required for size, efficiency and thermals \nExperience with schematic capture & layout review.\nExpertise in a lab environment using oscilloscopes and power measurement tools at IC as well as system level \nStrong analytical problem solving skills\nExcellent communication and presentation skills\nBachelors or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Ability to understand and identify product tradeoffs (power, performance, etc.) and optimize designs to meet requirements\nExperience and knowledge of PMIC architecture, implementation and validation\nWorking knowledge of embedded systems with focus on meeting tight constraints (i.e. power, size)\nKnowledge in one or more of the following areas: CPU/SOC, battery, analog circuits\nExperience working with mechanical design and software development teams.
