Java Developer

Reading, PA / Tampa FL

Onsite - Face-Face Interview Required

Looking for a true Principal Software Engineer, not simply a Senior Java Developer or Tech Lead.
Candidate must have experience owning enterprise architecture while remaining hands-on with development.
Strong experience designing and building large-scale enterprise applications from the ground up.
Looking for someone who can lead complex engineering initiatives rather than simply contribute to them.
Strong Azure cloud experience is required; experience with Azure B2C, Azure SignalR, Azure AI/Foundry is highly desirable.
Experience with Hybrid Cloud and OpenShift/Kubernetes modernization initiatives is preferred.
Will partner closely with Data Architects and DBAs to design enterprise application solutions.
Candidate should be comfortable communicating technical strategy to both engineering teams and business stakeholders.
Strong mentoring background expected. Candidate should have experience coaching engineers, conducting technical interviews, and raising engineering standards.
Must proactively solve complex technical problems rather than escalating issues.
Position will likely be released to Insight Global and potentially other staffing partners after the initial recruiting window, so please move qualified candidates quickly.
