StaffRight Associates is recruiting a Senior Business Analyst for a key client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire role, operating on a hybrid schedule with minimal travel (under 5%). The selected candidate will be hired as a W2 employee of the client.
Role Summary
We are looking for a high-caliber Senior BA to drive sophisticated enterprise projects, including major SAP S/4HANA migrations, complex system integrations, and front-end UI/UX improvements. This isn't just a documentation role; we need a strategic thinker who can deconstruct intricate business processes into clear, execution-ready development roadmaps.
Primary Responsibilities
SAP & Strategic Transformation
System Alignment: Map business needs to SAP S/4HANA capabilities, specifically supporting modules across Finance and Supply Chain (FI, SD, MM, EWM, etc.).
Modernization Support: Ensure all functional solutions harmonize with the organization s long-term digital transformation goals.
Requirements Engineering & Process Design
End-to-End Documentation: Lead the discovery phase to produce high-quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and technical specifications.
User Story Crafting: Translate stakeholder needs into detailed, testable user stories featuring comprehensive acceptance criteria.
Workflow Visualization: Utilize Visio to blueprint "As-Is" and "To-Be" process models for cross-platform workflows.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Stakeholder Synergy: Act as the primary liaison between Product Managers, QA, developers, and external vendors.
Risk Management: Identify potential process gaps, integration bottlenecks, and system dependencies early in the project lifecycle.
Collaborative Decision Making: Facilitate workshops to align diverse teams on project scope and technical requirements.
Agile Execution & Quality Assurance
Sprint Participation: Drive value in ceremonies including backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Data-Driven Validation: Use SQL to query databases and verify that system outputs match the defined business logic.
Testing Oversight: Author and run test scripts while partnering with QA teams to ensure successful end-to-end integration.
Profile
Core Requirements:
Tenure: 7 8+ years of professional BA experience within large-scale ERP or enterprise software environments.
SAP Mastery: Deep functional knowledge of SAP (S/4HANA preferred) and its associated modules (CO, PA, AR, AP, etc.).
Agile Proficiency: Extensive experience working in Scrum or SAFe frameworks.
Technical Toolkit: Skilled in SQL for data analysis and Visio for process mapping.
Complex Integrations: Proven track record of managing requirements for multi-system integrations and UI/UX-heavy feature sets.
Soft Skills:
Communication: Elite verbal and written skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Analytical Rigor: A disciplined approach to documentation and a high degree of attention to detail.
Accountability: An "ownership" mindset capable of managing multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-moving setting.
Education & Preferred Assets:
Degree: Bachelor s in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Tools: Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO), Confluence, or Miro.
Experience: Background in digital transformation or major UI/UX redesign projects.
