Snowflake Tech Lead

Key Responsibilities & Experience:

  • Lead design, development, and integration activities for the Kraken platform and associated data solutions.
  • Refactor legacy SQL views and ETL processes into scalable, reusable dbt models implementing SCD Type 1 patterns.
  • Optimize Snowflake performance through query tuning, warehouse sizing, clustering, and micro-batch incremental processing.
  • Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for dbt projects using GitHub, Snowflake Cortex Code, and Snowflake Tasks orchestration.
  • Drive architecture decisions, code reviews, and best practices across data engineering and analytics teams.
  • Collaborate with business, product, and engineering stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-performing solutions.
  • Mentor development teams and ensure adherence to security, scalability, and operational excellence standards.
