Test Automation Architect - Need Kicak

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced QA Automation Architect to design, build, and scale robust test automation frameworks that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications. This role will provide technical leadership in test automation strategy, enable continuous testing practices, and collaborate closely with engineering teams in an Agile environment. Experience with modern automation tools and AI-assisted testing approaches is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and Java.

• Define automation standards, best practices, and reusable components to support enterprise-wide testing initiatives.

• Develop and execute automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and integrated systems.

• Leverage AI-assisted or agentic AI tools to support test design, test data generation, and automated test creation where appropriate.

• Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks using tools such as Cucumber and TestNG.

• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent frameworks.

• Collaborate with business analysts and engineering teams to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.

• Support and enable Continuous Testing practices within CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality releases.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software on schedule.

• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to validate fixes and improvements.

• Contribute to the design and development of scalable, resilient test utilities and supporting systems using Java or Python.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Architect or senior automation engineer in enterprise environments.

• Deep expertise with Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG, Maven, Cucumber, and BDD-based automation frameworks.

• Working knowledge of Playwright for modern end-to-end test automation.

• Hands-on experience with API testing tools and frameworks such as Postman and RestAssured.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including both manual and automated testing processes.

• Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive test strategies.

• Experience working in Agile development teams and collaborating closely with software engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience enabling Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, and Continuous Delivery pipelines.

• Familiarity with AI-driven or agentic AI testing tools and techniques.

• Experience developing supporting tools or frameworks using Java or Python.

• Strong communication skills and a quality-first mindset.
