Daikin Applied is seeking a
Sr. Azure DevOps Engineer. The Sr. Azure DevOps Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and managing the development, test, and delivery platforms that support cloud-native application development and operations at the Applied Development Center, Daikin Applied Americas. This role will support the evolution of our Azure DevOps ecosystem-driving automation, improving developer experience, supporting operations, strengthening reliability, and ensuring our cloud platforms scale securely and efficiently. Location: Plymouth, MN - Hybrid
What you will do:- Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using industry-standard tools and services
- Write application deployment automation using industry-standard deployment and configuration tools
- Work with a team of developers to identify necessary Azure resources and automate their provisioning
- Work closely with key stakeholders to capture, analyze, and derive DevOps requirements
- Implement and stay abreast of Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling
- Maintain detailed documentation of automation processes
- Mentor and guide less experienced DevOps team members

Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years of Azure DevOps experience
- Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps technologies and its tools
- Experience with ARM templates and deployment strategies
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines or equivalent and YAML
- Experience incorporating the best DevOps capabilities into development
- Experience with monitoring Azure PaaS applications
- Ability to work on multiple tasks at once
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Self-directed learner
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:- Microsoft Azure courses or certifications, including relevant course and certifications for an Azure DevOps role, as well as Microsoft Bicep language
- 3+ years of Azure DevOps experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Bicep language
- Experience with the technical review process
- Completed relevant Microsoft Azure courses or certifications
- Experience with analysis of available technological solutions
- Experience with continuous integration
- Experience mentoring less experienced DevOps personnel about best practices
The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,400-$147,400 + 10% bonus in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
