Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant to lead finance and controlling implementations in SAP S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Finance & Controlling modules, deep knowledge of S/4HANA Finance architecture, and proven experience leading full lifecycle implementations. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, cross-functional SAP teams, and technical resources to deliver scalable financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP FICO workstream in S/4HANA implementation projects including design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
• Conduct workshops with finance and controlling stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Configure and support SAP FICO modules including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Internal Orders (IO)
• Product Costing (CO-PC)
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Implement S/4HANA Finance innovations such as:
• Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
• New Asset Accounting
• Central Finance
• Embedded Analytics
• Fiori Applications
• Collaborate with MM, SD, PP, HR, PS, and other SAP teams for end-to-end integration.
• Coordinate with ABAP, Basis, Security, and Fiori teams for custom developments and enhancements.
• Lead finance-related data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities.
• Manage SIT, UAT, go-live, hypercare, and post-production support activities.
• Provide end-user training and create functional documentation, test scripts, and process flows.
• Recommend best practices and process improvements aligned with SAP S/4HANA standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
• Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations as FICO Lead.
• Strong expertise in:
• GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, Financial Closing
• Product Costing and Profitability Analysis
• Universal Journal and New GL concepts
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture and Fiori applications.
• Experience integrating SAP FICO with MM, SD, PP, PS, and HR modules.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Activate methodology.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced global environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification.
• Experience with:
• Central Finance
• Group Reporting
• Treasury & Banking Integration
• Taxation and Compliance
• Experience in multi-country rollouts and large enterprise environments.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or CMA are a plus.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
