Material Support

Job Title :- Material Support 

Location :- Lafayette, IN, USA Onsite

Duration :- 11 Months

In this role, you will work with Material Handling team at an MRO shop and responsible for the end-to-end flow, control, and integrity of parts/materials through the maintenance/repair/overhaul process. Work with the technicians to have the right material at the right place/time, with the right traceability and condition, while protecting Safety and Quality.

• Move parts to/from MRB crib in line with storage procedure
• Ensure that all inventory is accurate and handled properly in SAP throughout the inventory process
• Perform physical inventory checks for components, labels, and finished goods; identifies discrepancies and processes corrections as needed.
• Audits and confirms materials, components are accurate before processing transactions in SAP or loading for inbound shipments
• Perform inventory and status updates in ERP/SAP systems; ensure status codes accurately match physical reality.
• Retrieve parts for inspectors/MRB engineers, support photos/measurements as requested, and return items to correct location; update system/location when MRB disposition is issued.
• After MRB disposition: move parts to rework area, scrap area, shipping dock, or back to stock; confirm the correct bin/location and status; ensure scrap is handled per procedure
• Experience with warehouse/materials
• Experience with ERP/MES (SAP/Oracle/etc.) and scanners/barcoding preferred; ability to do accurate location/status moves
• Able to stand/walk for shifts; lift/carry up to a defined limit. Ability to work in warehouse/shop environment
