Automation QA - Playwright/Typescript

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking an Automation QA with expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for web-based applications. This role designs, installs, programs systems to control production, processing or plant operations
experience testing web based applications with a strong background in building comprehensive automated frameworks from scratch.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Skilled in testing responsive web applications across desktop and mobile platforms using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and REST APIs
* Proficient in Playwright, Cypress, JavaScript/TypeScript, and statically typed languages such as Java or .NET
* Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, test case development, root cause analysis, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
* Experienced working in Agile enterprise environments to ensure high-quality software delivery through comprehensive automated and manual testing
* Must have tested web applications that involved technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, responsive design, JSON, and REST to be accessed on multiple platforms, including mobile and desktops
* Strong background in QA methodologies and best practices
* Deep experience with modern automated testing frameworks and platforms such as Playwright and Cypress
* Deep experience developing in a least one front-end language (e.g. JavaScript or TypeScript) and at least one statically typed language (e.g. Java or .NET)
* Ability to analyze automated test results and metrics and to perform root cause failure analysis
* Ability to write and execute detailed test cases that exercise all aspects of the system under test
* Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools (e.g. Github Actions) web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, responsive design, etc.)
* Experience working in an enterprise environment with agile software development methodologies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
