Principal UX Designer - Mobile Platform Position Overview As a Principal UX Designer supporting Mobile, you will help shape and deliver intuitive, scalable, and high-quality mobile experiences across the reseller journey. This role focuses on improving how resellers engage with key platform touchpoints from a mobile context.

You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and other UX design peers to ensure the mobile experience is not treated as a disconnected surface, but as a connected, seamless extension of the broader platform ecosystem. This role requires strong systems thinking, deep mobile UX expertise, and the ability to translate complex B2B workflows into clear, usable, implementation-ready experiences.

What You Will Do

  • Lead mobile user experience design efforts across multiple reseller-facing touchpoints, including product discovery, orders, notifications, post-sales, and account/customer-related workflows.
  • Translate intricate B2B workflows into simple, intuitive, and mobile-appropriate experiences that support reseller needs and business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Researchers, and Designers to clarify requirements, frame problems, define experience direction, and align on implementation-ready solutions.
  • Create user flows, high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, detailed annotations, and UX documentation that support cross-functional alignment and seamless engineering handoffs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve continuity and parity between desktop web and mobile experiences, while accounting for the unique behaviors, constraints, and expectations of mobile users.
  • Help define and champion scalable mobile UX patterns that can be reused across different domains, workflows, and product areas.
  • Work within the existing design system while identifying mobile-specific gaps, pattern needs, and opportunities to improve consistency across the entire user experience.
  • Support design QA and implementation reviews to ensure delivered experiences align perfectly with intended usability, interaction, accessibility, and visual design standards.
  • Bring a strong point of view to mobile strategy, helping the team understand where mobile should mirror the broader platform, where it should adapt, and where it can create unique value for resellers.

qualifications:

7+ years of experience in user experience/product design, with a demonstrated track record of designing complex digital products, platforms, or enterprise/B2B experiences.

Strong mobile UX design experience, including native mobile applications (iOS/Android), responsive web, or mobile-optimized workflows.

Proven ability to navigate complex, multi-sided systems and translate them into clear, intuitive, and scalable user experiences.

Mastery of interaction design, visual design, information architecture, prototyping, and user journey mapping.

Experience working with robust design systems and component-based product environments.

Ability to create polished, development-ready designs in Figma, including complex user flows, prototypes, and comprehensive supporting documentation.

Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly explain design rationale to Product, Engineering, UX leadership, and executive stakeholders.

Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous spaces, asking thoughtful questions to bring structure to complex product domains.

Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams through the entire lifecycle: from initial discovery to delivery and post-launch refinement.

Experience designing for B2B, enterprise, SaaS, commerce, distribution, or workflow-heavy platforms.

Experience designing across both desktop and mobile surfaces, with a strict focus on cross-platform continuity.

Domain experience supporting areas such as quoting, ordering, product search, account management, notifications, customer management, or post-sales workflows.

Deep familiarity with mobile accessibility standards (WCAG) and mobile usability best practices.

Experience contributing to reusable product patterns, design system governance, or mobile experience guidelines.
