Project Manager III – Electrical Capital Projects
📍 Preferred Location: Duluth, Minneapolis, or Edina, MN
📅 Duration: 1 Year Contract
🏢 Hybrid: Mon, Tues, Thurs Onsite | Weds, Fri Remote
Key Requirements
✅ Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Pipelines, or related field
✅ 7+ years of experience, including 5+ years managing capital projects
✅ Experience delivering electrical, utility, pipeline, facility, or infrastructure projects
✅ Strong knowledge of project execution, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC)
✅ PMP certification is a strong asset
Responsibilities
- Lead small to mid-sized electrical capital projects ($500K–$100M)
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and risk
- Coordinate engineering consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders
- Support project development, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout
- Manage project change, risks, and stakeholder communications
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams and technical resources
Preferred Experience
- Utilities, Energy, Pipeline, Electrical Infrastructure, or Industrial Projects
- Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and/or National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience working with engineering consultants and construction contractors
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
