Summary

Software Resources has an immediate job opportunity for an Oracle EPM Cloud Developer with a major corporation in Bristol, CT or New York City.

Pay Rate:
$80 - $83/hr DOE

Must Haves:

  • Will be building applications, triaging defects, will be the admin of the tool post go-live. Must have Oracle EPM Planning
  • Day to day:
  • 1st part: Will be the face of the business for application adds/updates and work with the developers on adding filters, modifications
    • Must be able to do for self vs relying on offshore team.
  • 2nd part: Improving applications/ learning processes and translating functional designs into the tool. Internal client is subscriber revenue/forecasting subscriptions for channels.
  • Must have proven ability to pivot within Oracle EPM and have done different things within Oracle in previous roles,.
  • Must have a DEEP understanding on planning solution in Oracle, for example how to set up reporting, auditing etc.
  • Must be able to develop forms and calculations and know Oracle implementations and how to automate to solution.
  • AI experience would be a nice to have- someone who is utilizing forward thinking.
  • Must have thorough documentation skills and can write requirements as well as be an effective communicator.

Role Purpose:
Support the technical maintenance and configuration of FP&A's Oracle EPM Cloud solution

Key Responsibilities:
Business Systems Analyst Support — Support documentation of business/reporting requirements and future-state process design, and detailed RTM (incl. dimensions & hierarchies); develop functional test inventory, including SIT/UAT scripts; support SIT/UAT and defect resolution.
• Technical Configuration & Build — Create/modify Groovy calculation scripts; modify planning model structure; manage core financial structure changes; build alternate hierarchy rollups; conduct unit testing.
• Data Integration & Loads — Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled data loads; create new integration rules and modify existing mappings
• Security & Access — Provision approved access at the server level; perform quarterly SOX access reviews; manage service accounts and API access
• System Administration — Monitor system performance/jobs; maintain EPM Automate scripts/automation; execute LCM migrations across environments; manage backups; maintain SSO/authentication; coordinate Oracle monthly updates

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years hands-on experience administering and configuring Oracle EPM Cloud (EPBCS/PBCS, FCCS, or equivalent modules) in an enterprise environment.

Preferred:
• Proven experience developing and maintaining Groovy calculation scripts, business rules, and custom automation.
• Strong working knowledge of EPM Automate and scripting for job automation, environment refreshes, and LCM migrations across DEV/TEST/PROD.
• Familiarity with Media & Entertainment industry, specifically Affiliate Subscribers & Revenues business
• Oracle EPM Cloud certification(s)
