As a Technical Co-Op, you will engage in an extended program designed to provide in-depth hands-on experience in various technical functions within the aerospace and defense industry. You will work on real-world projects, receive continuous mentorship, and develop essential technical skills through practical assignments and learning opportunities.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations - with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.

Responsibilities:
  • Must have been a SNC Summer 2026 Intern
  • Work on long-term technical projects and contribute to achieving team goals by completing assigned tasks.
  • Engage in continuous mentorship and coaching from experienced industry professionals.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and prepare comprehensive reports on project progress and outcomes.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support engineering and technical decisions.
  • Participate in planning and coordination meetings to align with project requirements and timelines.
  • Identify and suggest process optimization opportunities and support their implementation.
  • Gain experience in various technical functions through cross-departmental workshops and assignments.
  • Engage in professional development activities to enhance your technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in college or technical school, with at least 6 months until graduation after end of internship.
  • Relevant experience.
  • Currently enrolled in a university or college program pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organization skills and work ethic; detail oriented.
