An industry-leading global technology provider is seeking an entry-to-mid level Business Automation & AI Specialist for a 6-month contract opportunity


. In this role, you will work directly with business operations departments to evaluate manual workflows and build, deploy, and maintain end-to-end automation solutions


. Operating with general guidance, you will leverage Python, Google Workspace, Gemini AI, and RPA tools to streamline enterprise processes, write clear documentation, and train end-users to ensure smooth project hand-offs

responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities


  • Evaluate & Identify Automation Opportunities: Meet directly with key business departments to analyze, evaluate, and identify repetitive manual processes suitable for automation.
  • Develop Scalable Automation Solutions: Leverage Google Workspace, AI tools (Gemini preferred), Apps Script, RPA, Python, and advanced Excel/VBA to design and execute robust automated solutions.
  • Execute Technical Data & Workflow Operations: Build end-to-end automations for large datasets, automated reporting, online forms, automated email responses with attachments, data scrubbing, OCR recognition, data analysis, and data validations.
  • Draft ERP System Proposals: Draft automation proposals (such as RPA for ERP field population) for submission to CUSA IT to ensure policy compliance and system approval.
  • Document Processes & Codebase: Thoroughly document all workflows, scripts, codebases, and technical implementations to maintain clarity and maintainability for internal teams.
  • Train & Empower Business Users: Conduct comprehensive training sessions and workshops for department users to facilitate seamless adoption and operational self-sufficiency.
  • Manage Project Hand-off: Ensure all deployed automations, workflows, and reporting dashboards are fully operational and easily manageable by business teams post-hand-off.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the primary supervisor and key supporting teams (Business Process Planning and CUSA IT) to align on deliverables and technical standards.




qualifications:

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications


Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)

Experience Level: Entry-to-mid level; extensive senior experience is not required as long as the candidate can complete the responsibilities efficiently and understands the technical fundamentals


.


Core Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience with data validation, ETL processes, database management (BigQuery / SQL Server preferred), and automation tools (RPA, Python, or advanced Excel/VBA)

AI & Platform Experience: Experience with Google Workspace and AI process enhancements (Gemini preferred)


.


Professional Competencies: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented focus on data accuracy and compliance, and a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical business users
