Full Stack Developer (React, Node/TypeScript, Go, AWS) Backend Heavy

Location: Richmond, VA (hybrid preferred or Remote)

Schedule: Hybrid or fully remote

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services (60% focus) using Go and Node.js/TypeScript, including API design, microservices, and data processing for high-volume transactions.
• Optimize AWS infrastructure (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3) for performance, scalability, and security in a cloud-native environment.
• Build responsive frontend components with React, integrating seamlessly with backend APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement money movement features, ensuring compliance with banking standards (e.g., PCI, data privacy).
• Write clean, testable code; perform code reviews; and troubleshoot production issues.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to platform evolution from design to deployment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in full stack development, with strong backend emphasis (Go, Node.js/TypeScript).
• Proficiency in React for modern UIs; AWS services for deployment and orchestration.
• Experience with relational/NoSQL databases, REST/GraphQL APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with fintech/banking domains preferred (e.g., payment processing, secure transactions).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in hybrid/remote settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking platform or payments experience.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus).
• Agile/Scrum background.
