Must: Have: This is a technical, individual contributor role of Network Architect role. Experience with SDWAN, Aruba, wifi (they have a lot of wifi issues), AI automation ( scripting/python). Their architecture is very immature and they need someone who can come in and properly architect, provide suggestions of proper process, etc.
Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and operating enterprise network infrastructure the following technical disciplines: network architecture, cloud networking, network automation, wireless networking, infrastructure automation, SDWAN networking, and security infrastructure.
Experience in managing teams working across multiple, diverse technologies and operational environments.
Direct experience architecting solutions for: SDWAN, firewalls, LAN, cloud, and network automation
Seeking a Sr. Network Architect who will lead and
evolve network infrastructure to support the business growth and transformation.
This senior leader will oversee the design, implementation, and management of
enterprise network platforms, ensuring performance, scalability, security, and reliability
of all network systems. The Sr. Manager will set a strategic vision for the network
architecture discipline and develop high-performing teams to deliver world-class
network solutions.
Job Responsibilities
-Develop and execute strategic plans and roadmaps to advance enterprise network infrastructure, supporting current and future business needs.
-Establish and govern enterprise-level standards, best practices, and processes for network architecture, engineering, and deployment.
-Champion modernization initiatives including cloud networking, network automation, AI, and network-as-code, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
-Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of network technologies, tools, and vendors, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and business objectives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure seamless integration and delivery.
-Analyze technology trends and assess emerging solutions to recommend and drive adoption of new capabilities where appropriate.
-Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance requirements
throughout all aspects of network architecture and operations.
