SAP Warehouse and Distribution Solution Architect (17378)

Baer is looking for SAP Warehouse and Distribution Solution Architect for a 3+ month Contract-to-Hire role.
Title: SAP Warehouse and Distribution Solution Architect
Location: Remote for the first 3 months (Onsite in Dallas, TX after converted to Perm)
Duration: 3 months Contract-to-Hire
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: C2C or W2
Description

• Architect, deliver, and support SAP solutions for warehouse and distribution operations.
• Translate business needs into scalable system designs leveraging standard SAP functionality, enhancements, and integrated third-party tools.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and produce clear functional and technical documentation.
• Lead full lifecycle solution delivery including design, build, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and hypercare.
• Identify and implement process improvements that simplify operations and enhance performance.
• Direct integration testing to ensure seamless end-to-end logistics workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive change management, user adoption, and operational readiness.
• Provide production support, resolve incidents, and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Maintain compliance with security, SOX, and change management standards.
• Define architecture standards and best practices for warehouse and logistics platforms.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.

Requirements

• 10+ years of SAP experience (ECC and/or S/4HANA) with strong Warehouse and Distribution domain expertise.
• Deep functional knowledge of SAP MM, IM, WM, SD, and LE-Shipping (EWM experience preferred).
• Hands-on experience with warehouse processes including inbound, inventory management, picking, packing, shipping, and PGI.
• Familiarity with integrations such as IDocs, APIs, EDI, middleware, 3PL systems, and RF/automation technologies.
• Demonstrated success leading end-to-end solution implementations.
• Strong process design, requirements analysis, and fit-gap assessment skills.
• Willingness to travel to distribution centers as needed
• Bachelor s degree or equivalent professional experience.
