Job Summary

Tryfacta is seeking a Technical Writer for a 12-month onsite contract opportunity. This role supports technology initiatives by developing clear, high-quality communications, documentation, and messaging across system implementations, process improvements, and digital modernization efforts.

The Technical Writer will collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to translate complex information into user-friendly content for internal and external audiences.


Position Details

Position Title: Technical Writer
Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30046
Duration: 12 Months (Contract)
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
Work Model: 100% Onsite (No Remote/Telework)


Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality communications for system changes, enhancements, and modernization initiatives
  • Create branded materials including executive summaries, presentations, and stakeholder communications
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise messaging
  • Support Product Owners and Project Managers with communication deliverables
  • Coordinate communication distribution through internal tools and channels
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, terminology, and formatting
  • Act as liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Prepare leadership-ready summaries highlighting outcomes and improvements
  • Maintain documentation and communication standards
  • Track engagement metrics and provide insights

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, IT, Public Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of technical writing or product communications experience
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical information into clear written content
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting technology or system implementation projects
  • Public sector or local government experience
  • Experience developing branded communication materials
  • Familiarity with communication tools such as Constant Contact
  • Experience working with centralized communications teams
  • Exposure to tools such as Accela, GIS, Power BI, Jira, and Scribe

Additional Requirements

  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Local candidates preferred due to onsite requirement
