What's the Role?

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript / React) within our Product Engineering team, with a strong front-end focus and a full-stack mindset. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who enjoys building production-grade consumer applications and contributing to shared component systems, while writing TypeScript across the stack.

You'll work closely with designers and engineers to build accessible, high-quality user interfaces while also contributing to React applications and TypeScript-based APIs. This role is coding-heavy and ideal for someone who thrives by building.

Responsibilities
  • Be a critical technical contributor focused on hands-on coding and shipping high-quality production software.
  • Contribute to and help evolve shared UI component libraries, with a strong emphasis on accessibility, design fidelity, and long-term maintainability.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain modern React applications using TypeScript.
  • Build reusable, accessible, and well-tested UI components suitable for adoption across teams.
  • Contribute to full-stack development, including React applications and API development.
  • Collaborate closely with designers to translate design systems and compositions into polished, production-ready interfaces.
  • Ensure code quality through strong engineering practices, code reviews, and testing.
  • Continuously improve standards and best practices across the front-end codebase.
  • Communicate technical decisions and tradeoffs clearly with engineers and stakeholders.
  • Join a collaborative, high-trust team where engineers take pride in what they build and actively shape the platform together.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of software front-end development experience.
  • Senior-level experience building and maintaining production web applications.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and React, with experience using modern styling approaches such as Tailwind CSS.
  • Proven experience building UI component libraries or design systems used in production.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility (a11y), responsive design, and the ability to translate functional and behavioral requirements into reusable UI components.
  • Experience with modern React tooling and patterns (e.g., React Router, TanStack).
  • Familiarity with server-rendered React and modern full-stack architectures.
  • Experience building APIs with TypeScript (e.g., Express, Hono, or similar).
  • Comfortable working alongside backend systems, with a willingness to contribute
  • to API design.
  • Brings curiosity and enthusiasm for modern React development and enjoys exploring new capabilities as the front-end ecosystem evolves.
  • Comfortable working in a Git-based workflow with CI/CD pipelines.
