Job Summary (Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst):
- Provide regulatory reporting and data analysis for capital management at leading financial institutions (CAT-2/CAT-3).
- Collect, analyze, and report risk asset data (FR Y-15, 2052A/6G) to meet US regulatory requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain standard/ad hoc reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL).
- Support evaluation and improvement of data governance, operational quality standards, and regulatory compliance practices.
- Perform manual Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) regulatory reporting tasks.
- Gather, organize, and manage information across various platforms (Excel, SharePoint, enterprise systems like InSync EHR).
- Extract, clean, and prepare datasets from source systems for analysis and regulatory reporting.
- Identify data trends, outliers, and inconsistencies; provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
- Support data validation to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of regulatory reports.
- Document reporting logic, definitions, and processes for transparency and repeatability.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support regulatory reporting initiatives.
Required Experience:
6-8 years in risk regulatory compliance analytics, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
