Remote, Senior SOC Analyst - Only W2

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with SIEM/XSIAM platforms and senior-level SOC operations.

• Strong expertise in security incident investigation, response management, escalation, and root-cause analysis.

• Proven ability in threat hunting, threat detection, and detection engineering.

• Skilled in designing security playbooks and driving remediation efforts.

• Ability to lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to SOC team members.

• Typically, 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or Security Operations Center (SOC) environments.

• Relevant certifications such as GCIH, GCIA, GCFE, GCDA, CISSP, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Practical experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Tenable, Rapid7, Cribl, and Cortex security solutions.

• Strong understanding of SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, network, identity, and cloud security technologies.

• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and NIST security frameworks.

• Additional GIAC, CISSP, or other industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications.
