Skill set.AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT), AWS DataSync, Oracle, SQL Server Key ResponsibilitiesMigration Strategy & Assessment: Assess legacy database workloads for cloud readiness and utilize AWS SCT to map and convert heterogeneous database schemas.Pipeline & Replication Setup: Configure and optimize AWS DMS tasks, utilizing Change Data Capture (CDC) to manage ongoing target synchronization.Performance Tuning & Validation: Diagnose and resolve migration performance bottlenecks, manage data validation scripts, and verify data integrity post-migration.Secure Infrastructure Deployment: Provision and secure target AWS databases (Amazon RDS, Aurora, DocumentDB) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) following AWS security best practices.Cutover Execution: Orchestrate final database cutovers, rollback procedures, and post-migration stability testing alongside application development teams
