Job DetailsWe are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician with expertise in blown film processes. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the manufacturing industry and have a deep understanding of the maintenance requirements of blown film machinery. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our organization, ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes and contributing to our overall operational excellence. Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Performing routine and preventive maintenance on blown film machinery to ensure optimal operation.
2. Diagnosing and repairing faults in blown film machinery and related equipment.
3. Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
4. Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
5. Collaborating with the production team to minimize downtime and maintain high levels of productivity.
6. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
7. Documenting all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
8. Providing technical support and guidance to junior staff members.
9. Staying updated with the latest developments in blown film technology and incorporating them into our maintenance processes.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Technician position should possess the following qualifications:
1. Experience as a Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry, with specific experience in blown film processes.
2. Proven expertise in preventive maintenance and the ability to diagnose and repair faults in blown film machinery.
3. A strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the manufacturing industry.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to provide technical guidance to junior staff members.
6. A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest developments in blown film technology.
7. A high level of physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
8. A technical diploma or equivalent qualification in a related field would be an asset.
