We are seeking a
Sr. SEO Manager to join a fast-paced agency team supporting key client accounts. This is a highly visible role for a senior-level SEO leader who can immediately step in, develop strategy, execute deliverables, and drive measurable organic growth. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across technical SEO, content strategy, local SEO, and emerging AI search optimization while confidently managing client relationships and multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities:- Own hands-on SEO strategy and execution across 40+ localized websites, managing optimizations, deliverables, and performance initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement improvements related to site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, indexing, crawlability, and site health.
- Develop and execute content, keyword, local SEO, and entity optimization strategies aligned with user intent and business objectives.
- Increase visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI discovery platforms through SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) best practices.
- Analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve rankings, traffic, and conversions.
- Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to communicate strategy, prioritize initiatives, and drive execution.
Requirements Top 3 Must-Haves: Hands-On SEO Expertise. Deep experience leading technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, local SEO, and organic growth initiatives.SEO + AEO + GEO Knowledge. Strong understanding of structured data, entity optimization, answer-focused content, AI Overviews, and emerging AI search best practices.Client-Facing & Independent Execution. Ability to clearly communicate recommendations and performance insights while managing multiple priorities with minimal oversight in an agency environment.\ Preferred Experience:- Experience managing SEO strategies for multiple clients simultaneously.
- Background working within a digital marketing agency environment.
- Experience supporting multi-location businesses and localized SEO initiatives.
- Familiarity with AI-driven search trends and evolving search discovery channels.
- Proven track record of improving organic visibility, traffic, and lead generation.
Skills & Tools:- Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, Local SEO, Content Strategy, Keyword Research
- AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
- Structured Data and Schema Markup
- Core Web Vitals and Technical Site Auditing
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, Google Business Profile
- SEO Platforms such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, BrightLocal, or similar tools
- Strong reporting, analytical, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
