RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Junior Azure Cloud and M365 Administrator to support a large Microsoft 365 environment during a major cloud modernization initiative. This role will play a key part in day-to-day cloud operations while supporting a long-term Microsoft Secure Cloud project, including Teams, SharePoint, and security enhancements. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for a junior to mid-level cloud or M365 administrator looking to grow within an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support escalated tickets related to Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
* Contribute to Microsoft Purview initiatives, including data loss prevention (DLP) and sensitivity labels
* Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine administrative tasks
* Design and support Power Automate workflows to streamline approved business processes
* Provide general support for Azure and cloud infrastructure, including monitoring and basic configuration
* Collaborate with senior cloud administrators to support department-by-department M365 deployments
Assist with SharePoint Online rollouts, including:
* User provisioning and permissions
* Department site setup
* End-user support and troubleshooting
REQUIREMENTS:
* Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365/Office 365
* Working knowledge of SharePoint Online administration and user support
* Experience supporting Microsoft Teams
* Proficiency with PowerShell for administrative scripting and automation
* Exposure to Microsoft Purview, DLP, or data governance concepts
* Familiarity with Power Automate or workflow automation tools
* Basic experience with Microsoft Azure (user/resource management, monitoring, troubleshooting)
* Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
* Exposure to modern Microsoft security, collaboration, and automation tools
Nice-to-Have Skills:
* Experience supporting M365 or Teams rollouts
* Familiarity with MFA and Conditional Access
* Background in enterprise IT or hybrid environments
* Experience working in ticket-driven support models
Work Environment & Benefits:
* Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite per week in Springfield, MA
* Long-term contract (9 months) with high likelihood of conversion to full-time

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
