The Opportunity
StaffRight Associates is seeking a high-caliber Data Architect & Lead Developer to spearhead a massive cloud transformation and data modernization initiative. This is not a high-level advisory role; we need a technical visionary who thrives in the weeds of complex coding and system design. You will act as the primary architect for a critical migration of legacy infrastructure into a cutting-edge Azure environment, bridging the gap between sophisticated data modeling and hands-on application development. Your work will directly resolve data fragmentation, creating a unified, searchable ecosystem that empowers business intelligence and organizational growth.
What You’ll Do
Architect and execute a comprehensive migration strategy to transition legacy on-premise systems into a high-performance Azure cloud environment.
Engineer robust enterprise-level integrations using C# and .NET, ensuring seamless data flow between applications and the centralized data lake.
Synthesize fragmented data sources into a cohesive Medallion architecture, meticulously refining raw data into enriched, report-ready assets.
Champion the implementation of Azure Fabric, OneLake, and Databricks, serving as the resident subject matter expert for the broader development team.
Construct automated data streaming pipelines that aggregate information from numerous disparate databases into a unified Snowflake warehouse.
Collaborate with cross-functional business stakeholders to identify dark data and integrate it into the searchable data lake for advanced analytics.
Perform side-by-side technical development with senior engineers, solving complex algorithmic challenges and maintaining a high standard of code quality.
What You Bring
Deep Technical Roots: You began your career as a C#/.NET developer and have maintained elite-level coding proficiency throughout your progression into architecture.
Azure Mastery: Comprehensive expertise in the Microsoft Data Warehousing suite, specifically Azure Fabric, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
Data Modeling Excellence: Proven experience implementing Medallion patterns (Bronze/Silver/Gold) and enriching data through intentional, multi-stage processing.
Warehousing Expertise: Advanced command of Snowflake and experience managing large-scale data migrations.
Full-Stack Awareness: Strong familiarity with Python for scripting/analysis, GitHub for version control, and Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
Communication Clarity: The ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical leadership without relying on empty industry jargon.
Agility: A willingness to wear multiple hats, pivoting effortlessly between high-level architectural design and deep-dive C# development.
