MoveX/AS400 Functional Analyst-Fully Remote

This is mostly a remote role that requirtes working onsite for the first 5 days in Hoboken NJ.- All expenses covered. After the first week, the role is fully remote.

We are seeking a MoveX/AS400 Functional Analyst to support our customer on a 2 month assignment with possible extensions.

Although this position is remote, the preferred locations are Hoboken NJ or Chicago IL to accommodate a mandatory onsite interview at either location, and first day onsite for employment verification purposes. If not located in either area, the onsite interview is still required + the selected candidate will have to be onsite for the first week (M-F) in Hoboken NJ.-All expenses covered

Responsibilities:

Analyze AS400 master and transactional data to identify key tables, fields, and relationships within assigned functional domains
Translate business requirements into detailed data models, including fact/dimension structures and metric calculation logic
Develop and support source-to-target mapping documentation, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with data engineers and modelers to validate data grain, joins, and alignment with architectural standards
Document business processes and ensure alignment across Service, Aftermarket, Sales, and Supply Chain functions.

5-8+ years of experience as a functional or techno-functional analyst working with AS400 / ERP systems
Strong functional knowledge of Service, Aftermarket, Sales, and Supply Chain domains
Experience with data modeling concepts, including fact/dimension design and KPI definition
Proficiency in SQL and ability to develop pseudo code to support data transformation and reporting needs
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders
