DescriptionA TEKsystems client needs to bring in a Project Manager to help support and take some of the load off when it comes to documentation, organization and identifying the stakeholders for the multiple projects they are trying to get off the ground.
Most of this team is used to working in a waterfall environment, so they need this PM to come in and function in Agile and basically hold them all accountable in Agile- help them document in JIRA and push them through it. They need to be able to run summary and status for multiple prjects at once. They also needto understand technical terms- specifically with DATA RELATED PROJECTS. Ideally Cloud based projects- AZURE platform-data bricks.
They need to be focused on documentation and identifying stakeholders- able to do powerpoint and proficient with understanding the difference in deliverables vs. dependables vs risks and how to document each of them.
JOB DESCRIPTION:3-5 Years The IT Project Manager will work to make sure our IT practices stay aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities will include:- Lead the cross-functional delivery of a range of technology deliverables using advanced negotiation facilitation planning and dependency management techniques.
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, milestones, deliverables, detailed tasks, and resource requirements from concept creation through implementation. Lead sprint planning and stand-up meetings to facilitate the entire project lifecycle from start to finish.
- Collaborate with technical and product teams to break complex multi-disciplinary technology projects into prioritized and properly scoped plans of action.
- Create clear visibility into status and progress within the team and for stakeholders.
- Identify and manage cross-team dependencies and risks.
- Define and drive mitigation plans.
