Compensation: Up to $90/hour (depending on experience)

This role is responsible for the architecture, design, and technical governance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, with a strong focus on billing and invoicing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive system integrations, optimize platform performance, and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions aligned with architecture best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, with a focus on billing and invoicing
- Provide technical governance and ensure finance systems adhere to enterprise standards and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the D365 platform with existing enterprise systems
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize platform performance to meet evolving business requirements
- Serve as a subject matter expert on billing workflows and invoice data management
- Develop and maintain architectural documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system functionality, integrations, and data integrity
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and solution design discussions with stakeholders
- Stay current on D365 capabilities, updates, and enterprise architecture trends
- Support the full lifecycle of platform initiatives, from planning and design through implementation and optimization
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years working with Microsoft Dynamics
- Proven experience architecting and developing solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), specifically in billing and invoicing
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and system design best practices
- Hands-on experience with financial system integrations and invoice data workflows
- Deep familiarity with Dynamics 365 platform capabilities, tools, and ecosystem
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to create clear, detailed technical documentation and architectural diagrams
