Senior Application Programmer (.NET)

JOB TITLE: Senior Application Programmer
The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
Development, administration & configuration of a custom-built .NET development project.
Provide oversight and guidance of the customer-agency s replacement software and make
performance improvements.
Perform code reviews and testing on new code.
Participation in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum
ceremonies.
Cooperation with LDWF s Technical Architect and other OTS technical teams to ensure
compliance with OTS standards of State applications.
Provide technical knowledge transfer, training, documentation, mentorship, and guidance to
State personnel for all requested work.
Performs all other tasks, special projects, analysis, studies, and plans as directed.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
Five (5) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas:
o C#
o ASP.NET Core
o MSSQL
Five (5) plus years of enterprise-level software development
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
Has led a team of developers under Microsoft development stack
Familiarity with frameworks such as Vue, React, NodeJS, Angular, Typescript
Experience designing and developing distributed systems (Microservices/SOA)
Experience developing reports with SSRS or similar tools
Experience setting up, maintaining and using DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines
and automating tasks
Experience with the Git Version Control System, including branching strategies for complex
systems
Two (2) plus years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
Two (2) plus years of full-stack experience in any combination of the following areas:
o C#
o ASP.NET Core
o MSSQL
One (1) plus years of enterprise-level software development
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
Two (2) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas:
o Recent experience developing applications in MVC architecture using .NET Core
2.x or 3.x or .NET 5 and greater
o Bootstrap
o Javascript
o SQL Server
o DevOps Practices (CI/CD)
One (1) plus years of experience using Vue/React frameworks
Experience working on a development team
Experience with client engagements on design, delivery, deployment and on-going
maintenance
Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
